The three principles of unprogrammed identity are:
1 the trademark is the process;
2 the processes may be classified in three ways: deleting, sampling, making mistakes;
3 the amount of non-coordination depends on the control the designer has over the process;
corollary to the 3rd principle is: an identity program is a subset of an unprogrammed identity.
